O Curraliño is a 300-year-old stone farmhouse standing on 5500 m2 of meadow and woodland in a beautiful valley in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain. There are two casitas to rent - Casita del Norte (sleeps five) and Casita del Sur (sleeps two).
Each casita is fully-equipped and has its own private terrace.

About the house
O Curraliño is situated within 60 minutes of Santiago de Compostela Airport and 2 hours from Porto Airport.
The house has been lovingly restored using traditional techniques and materials which give the two cottages a truly rural Galician feel, yet at the same time providing modern comforts. The house is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with a landscape which has been described as one of the last remaining examples of medieval strip farming in Europe, with a patchwork of vineyards, pasture, maize and vegetable fields. The property adjoins a woodland of oak, chestnut and other native trees on either side of a small river, good for cooling off on hot summer days. The beaches of the Rias Baixas are within 30 minutes of the house, where there are many choices ranging from protected coves to ocean-facing surfing beaches. The lovely, unspoiled town of Pontevedra is 25 minutes' away.
The two casitas (cottages) available to rent are adjoined, but feel very private with their 60cm- thick stone walls and terraces which face different directions.
In both casitas, the bedrooms are upstairs, while the living areas including bathrooms are downstairs. Each has a washing machine, a smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen and good WIFI. Additionally, Casita del Norte has a microwave, a wood stove, and underfloor heating for the colder months. Casita del Sur has a vine-covered terrace, a mosaic bath and wall-mounted radiators.
